Jimmy was an Army pilot during WWII and entered the real estate business in the Spring of 1946. He became interested in the appraisal business and was one of the first MAI appraisers in South Carolina. He served as President of the local Board of Realtors and his firm was one of the first to be devoted to non-residential properties. Jimmy has served as a Director of two banks and is presently the Senior Partner in the firm of Holcombe, Fair & Lane.
